Connect to Meridian Terminal Server

Multiple methods of connection are listed below, depending on your preferred method, client, and operating system.

Remote Desktop Connection (PC)

  1. Connect to VPN
  2. Once connected to VPN, open Remote Desktop Connection
  3. Use trx-meridiants.austin.utexas.edu:59999 as the computer name and click connect. ***59999 is the port number****
  4. Login with your EID and password.
  5. Once connected, launch the BC Meridian PowerUser on the desktop.
  6. You will receive an error like the one below.

    Click OK.
  7. The Open Vault window will display.
    Click Browse.
    In the box labelled "Enter the object name to select," type one of the following:
    trx-meridian1 to reach the CPFM Vault
    trx-meridian2 to reach the FAS Vault

  8. Select the appropriate Vault

Microsoft Remote Desktop (Mac)

  1. Connect to VPN
  2. Once connected to VPN, open Microsoft Remote Desktop
  3. Add a PC

  4. Login with your EID and password.
  5. Once connected, launch the BC Meridian PowerUser on the desktop.
  6. You will receive an error like the one below.
    Click OK.
  7. The Open Vault window will display.
    Click Browse.
    In the box labelled "Enter the object name to select," type one of the following:
    trx-meridian1 to reach the CPFM Vault
    trx-meridian2 to reach the FAS Vault
