SW Fellows: First Steps Before Official Start
You may have already started this process. If not, your HR representative will guide you through
completing the onboarding task for your appointment as a Fellow. This will be done in UT’s Human Resources program, called “Workday.” When your assignment reaches final approval, you will then need to provide ORIGINAL and UNEXPIRED acceptable forms of identification for I-9 documentation by the 3rd day of employment. This is the most time-sensitive aspect of onboarding
so it’s recommended to have these documents ready.

Health Insurance: You will need to sign up for voluntary fellow student insurance through Academic Health Plans (http://utaustin.myahpcare.com ) and dental and eye insurance to begin September 1.
