Seminars
Integrative Biology hosts dfferent seminars through the long semesters. These seminars are “Plant Biology,” “Brain, Behavior, and Evolution,” and “Population Biology.” You may see what is scheduled by visiting the calendar hosted on the department’s webpage.
Additionally, “Ecolunch” is a weekly seminar series where speakers present on topics generally related to ecology. Presentations range from research progress reports to practice conference talks to well-versed presentations of long term research programs. Eating lunch during the
presentation is highly encouraged. Emails to sign up will be sent by the group at the start of the fall semester.
Science Under the Stars is a public outreach lecture held outdoors monthly at the Brackenridge Field Lab. It is organized by graduate students in IB. Events and more info is here: http://scienceunderthestars.org
