Housing Program for Tenure-Track Faculty

In 2022, the University purchased apartment residences with the goal of providing housing at discounted rates to new tenure-track faculty. Eligibility is based on 9-month base salary offered at the time of hire, and units are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For eligible new hires, the deadline to indicate interest in the program will be stated in their offer letter.

New hires interested in the faculty housing program may contact COE-FacultyAffairs@austin.utexas.edu for additional information. Once they have signed their offer letter, the COE Assistant Director for Faculty Affairs can submit a Faculty Housing Program Interest request via the Faculty Affairs/APS ServiceNow portal on their behalf.
