Housing Program for Tenure-Track Faculty
The information on this page pertains to College of Education faculty only. New Assistant Professor hires in other colleges in schools should contact the appropriate member of staff in their unit.
In 2022, the University purchased apartment residences with the goal of providing housing at discounted rates to new tenure-track faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor. Eligibility is based on 9-month base salary offered at the time of hire, and units are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For eligible new hires, the deadline to indicate interest in the program is stated in their offer letter.

Eligible new Assistant Professor hires who have signed an offer letter should confirm interest in the program by emailing COE-FacultyAffairs@austin.utexas.edu. The COE Assistant Director for Faculty Affairs will submit a Faculty Housing Program Interest request via the Faculty Affairs/APS ServiceNow portal on their behalf.
