Step-by-step Guide: Log Into Filed Maps App

Unlike AGOL the Enterprise GIS Portal requires VPN connection to login the Field Maps App. Be sure to connect to VPN on the mobile device whenever logging into the Field Maps App.

Connect to VPN using Cisco AnyConnect App:

Download Cisco AnyConnect.

2. Open Cisco AnyConnect App once download is complete.

3. Select AnyConnect VPN toggle.

4. Type TRecs in Description and type vpn.utexas.edu in Server Address .

5. Select Done and Select Save.

6. Select AnyConnect VPN toggle.

7. Enter Username and Password (Same credentials used when connecting to any UT resource that requires VPN).

8. Select Done and Connect.

Login to Field Maps App

Download the ArcGIS Field Maps App on your mobile devices.

2. Open ArcGIS Field Map App once download is complete.

3. Select Sign In with ArcGIS Enterprise.

4. Select Specify a New URL.

5. Type https://gis.utexas.edu/portal in the box bellow.

6. Select Okay.

7. Enter Username and Password (AGOL shared or unique credentials shared on Stache).

8. Select Sign In.

9. Explore My Maps or Groups to find a specific field collection map.
