Summary/Overview:
Random dice shakes are a core component of board games, card games, and any other game involving chance. Players in high stakes settings want to make sure their shake is properly random, and players in even higher stakes settings may want a way to reduce the possibility of cheating - whether by another player or the officiator.
So, how could a repeatable mechanism induce random shaking motions to mimic the same motion at the hands of a human? And how could the same mechanism release the dice in an easy to access location?
Click through these pages to see how our device takes advantage of springs and gaps in gears to induce intermittent motion!
