Installing Office on a personal non-UT machine

Do not perform these actions on a UT owned system!

If your system is missing office please contact your IT staff for assistance.

Category I Data

Working with Category I data on a personal non-UT computer is prohibited.

  • We can not provide support to any personally owned machine.
  • Any office installations performed via this method will cease to function when employment ends with the university.

 

 

To install Office on a personal machine please follow these steps:

  1. Click this link in your web browser. Outlook Web App
  2. Login with your EID.
  3. At the top of the page click on "office 365"
  4. On the 365 home page, uncheck the Bing and MSN options and then click Install now to download the installer.
  5. Run the installer that is downloaded to install office.
