Original ceramic feedthrough on ion pump

Procedure

1. Unblank ion pump

2. Remove original feedthrough

3. Unpackage and assemble new feedthrough

4. Insert new feedthrough into feedthrough port on ion pump, so that end of feedthrough intersects with copper connector piece.

   1. Use clean gloves or ultraclean tweezers when touching inside of ion pump

5. Using ultraclean wrench & clean gloves or ultraclean tweezers, tighten nut holding feedthrough in place

6. Connect to gamma vacuum ion pump controller using safeconn extension cable.
