Making New Exhaust Lines

This page describes how to make a new exhaust line, like the ones used on the exhaust end of a scroll pump

1. Order the correct tube size.

   1. For a scroll exhaust, it must be compatible with KF25 barbed ends. SDM last ordered 1" ID 1 19/64" OD braided PVC high pressure tube from McMaster

   2. McMaster-Carr

2. Cut the tube to the desire length, e.g. 5 feet. Make sure the ends are cut so they are flat

3. Insert the barbed KF fitting

4. Use a hose clamp to tightly secure the barbed fitting to the tube
