Summary/Overview:

Our goal with this project is to create an automatic pot stirrer that can optimally stir contents in cooking pots without human intervention. We achieved this goal by using a 4-bar linkage mechanism with a ternary link that is able to stir a spoon in a figure-8 path fitted to the circular profile of the pot. Through this, we will be able to allow users to step away from the stove without worrying about burning or compromising their food. Below is a photo of the final mechanism, a video demonstrating the final prototype, and a table on contents documenting the journey from preliminary idea to final product.
