Press Menu to get into the Menus to setup the camera |

To reset the camera back to default Press Menu Use the Joystick to navigate over to the Wrench Icon Then choose page 4 and select >Reset All |

Choose Yes here |

Use the little handle to slide the door of the SD card holder up to insert the SD Cards.

They should be already loaded but if not they go here |
|
Then back to >Menu >Choose the Filmstrip icon >Choose page 2 >Choose to Initialize |

Choose Card A or B you’ll need to format both |
|
Confirm by selecting Initialize again |
|
Click Yes here to erase the card |
|
Set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 as the camera defaults to UHD >Click the Menu Button and use the Joystick and navigate to >Choose the Filmstrip icon >Choose page 1 >Select Resolution

Choose 1920 x 1080 Click Menu button to get out of the menus
|

Slide the Lens Cap lever down to Open to open the Lens Cap |

Set the camera to all “Auto” functions so that the Iris and focus is all set to Auto so the image will be properly white balanced, exposed and in focus.
The switch is on top of the camera near the eyepiece to set the camera to “Auto” This will put the camera to full auto |

The camera has an on board microphone but for better audio a microphone is needed.
To connect a microphone connect to the Audio XLR input as shown here.

To locate the headphone jack there is a little door right near the lens at the front of the camera pull it open |

Plug your headphones into the Camera into the Headphone jack show here so you can monitor audio recording levels |

Camera audio controls make sure the XLR mic inputs are turned on by switching the ON - OFF switch to ON
Set levels on the mic inputs by turning the dials but setting the levels to center of the dial should be close but listen on headphones to make sure the levels are not over or under modulated

Then to start recording click on the Start/Stop button to start and stop recording |
