Install on personal systems
Installing Mathematica requires having a Mathematica account. If you do not have an account, go to https://account.wolfram.com/login/create to create one first.
Once you have an account, follow this link to request an Engineering Activation Key: https://user.wolfram.com/portal/requestAK/37d15148ebb46be30f0e40fb2104a9c8eb358d28
Fill out the request form
Please verify all of the contact details to help IT staff confirm your student status
Select the appropriate department
The most recent version should be selected already
Enter estimated graduation time
Click Submit
A temporary Activation Key will be created for you and Engineering IT will be contacted to confirm your student status and extend the key.
Copy this key in case there is a problem with the confirmation email
Follow the link to get to Downloads, and download the version of Mathematica you selected on the request form
Install Mathematica using the Activation Key that was created.

Once Engineering staff approve your request, you will receive notice that your Activation Key was extended
