Mathematica is available for ME students, faculty, and staff for coursework and non-commercial research

How can I access this software

• ... is available via:

  • Install on personal systems

    • Installing Mathematica requires having a Mathematica account.  If you do not have an account, go to https://account.wolfram.com/login/create to create one first.

    • Once you have an account, follow this link to request an Engineering Activation Key: https://user.wolfram.com/portal/requestAK/37d15148ebb46be30f0e40fb2104a9c8eb358d28

    • Fill out the request form

      • Please verify all of the contact details to help IT staff confirm your student status

      • Select the appropriate department

      • The most recent version should be selected already

      • Enter estimated graduation time

      • Click Submit

    • A temporary Activation Key will be created for you and Engineering IT will be contacted to confirm your student status and extend the key.  

    • Copy this key in case there is a problem with the confirmation email

    • Follow the link to get to Downloads, and download the version of Mathematica you selected on the request form

    • Install Mathematica using the Activation Key that was created.

    • Once Engineering staff approve your request, you will receive notice that your Activation Key was extended
