How to Approve a Post on Sprout Social

As an approver, you can delete, duplicate, review Approval Activity, preview, or edit any message. Once you Approve a post, you have to Schedule it.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log into the SOA Approver account on Sprout Social

  2. Ensure that you’ve selected the correct Group for your workflow

  3. Click on Publishing

  4. Click on Needs Approval

  5. Locate the post needing your approval (or other interaction)

  6. Use the tools at the bottom of the draft post to interact with it

  7. For approvals, click on the stamp icon

  8. Now you can Schedule your Post

Notification e-mails are sent to the SOA Social Approvers inbox, an example is below. To keep the shared inboxes clean, please delete these messages after you’ve addressed them.
