MPPT Enclosure
Documentation
R1: Took Design from Daybreak’s, need to change HV connectors, add active cooling
Fans:
Provides the most pressure and air flow for power usage, vents will limit air flow anyways so higher air flow isn’t needed
Also is the thinnest at 10mm
Vent options:
McMaster 4236N15https://www.mcmaster.com/4236N15/
smallest vent that still has good air flow, other companies also have vents with the same dimensions and ip rating
Bud https://www.budind.com/accessories/ip67-air-and-moisture-vent-ipv-67321-b/
Made walls thinner to make enclosure lighter, reinforcing pattern on outside
R2/3: Consolidated all three MPPT boards into one enclosure to minimize space, placed inside the rear of the frame underneath the MOCO
Two lids on the top and front for harnessing and LED visibility
However, much more difficult and not necessary due to more space from Daybreak shell
R4: Changed to rectangular shape to simplify design and take advantage of space
However, too large and needs to be either printed in 3 parts
R5: Changed to composite panels to avoid printing too many small parts together
