MPPT Enclosure

Documentation

  • R1: Took Design from Daybreak’s, need to change HV connectors, add active cooling

    • Fans:

      • Provides the most pressure and air flow for power usage, vents will limit air flow anyways so higher air flow isn’t needed

      • Also is the thinnest at 10mm

    • Vent options:

    • Made walls thinner to make enclosure lighter, reinforcing pattern on outside

  • R2/3: Consolidated all three MPPT boards into one enclosure to minimize space, placed inside the rear of the frame underneath the MOCO

    • Two lids on the top and front for harnessing and LED visibility

    • However, much more difficult and not necessary due to more space from Daybreak shell

  • R4: Changed to rectangular shape to simplify design and take advantage of space

    • However, too large and needs to be either printed in 3 parts

  • R5: Changed to composite panels to avoid printing too many small parts together
