4. Completing the ‘Output Section’ of the Survey

It is also the Survey Coordinator’s responsibility to enter the data in the ‘Output Section’ of the survey and no other team member contributes to this section. In order to complete the ‘Output Section’, click on the colored box under the ‘OUT’ column as shown in the figure below. A new tab or window will be opened with the ‘OUT’ survey (Figure 13).

The ‘Output Section’ includes all the data fields necessary to calculate the 10-10 output metrics. It also includes the ‘Productivity Benchmarking’ survey, which will be shown after a few pages (this means that you will press on the ‘Next’ button a few times before getting to the ‘Productivity Benchmarking’ survey. There are no mandatory questions in the ‘Output Section’. Users that are only entering productivity data should skip the initial pages, navigating to the ‘Productivity Survey’ by using the ‘Next’ button until the heading “Productivity Benchmarking’ appears, shown in the figure below. There are no mandatory fields in this section and the user can skip any number of questions. This means that the survey can be completed before the progress bar reaches 100%.

At any time, the ‘Save and Exit’ button is available and allows the user to save the data and safely exit the window to resume data entry later. The last page of the ‘Output Section’ survey will display the ‘Complete’ button. Clicking on the ‘Complete’ button will close the survey and no further data can be entered or edited. The survey should only be set as complete when the user is confident that all data have been entered and that the values have been reviewed and are correct.
