Choose what lens you want to use




12mmThis 12mm is a very wide angle lens use this lens for wide shots
25mm,

This 25mm lens has the perspective of a standard lens with an angle of view closest to the human visual field.

42.5mm

This 42.5 mm Ideal portrait lens use this for interviews

Here is how to remove and attach a lens


To remove press this button and twist counter

clockwise

To attach a lens line up the red dots on the lens and

the bezel and twist clockwise till lens in secure on

the camera

Put the SD card into the card slot and close the door

Flip the battery lock up and open the battery door

put the battery into the camera as so

Turn on the camera

Face the camera with the Lens facing away from you.


Top knob on left turn to ON

Also make sure the camera is set to Motion Picture Mode

M with a little camera icon next to it

The knob on the right leave on single shot mode as shown here

Press [ MENU ] → [ Image Setup ] → [ Reset ]

Use the scroll wheel to navigate to the menus

Go to the wrench and choose Reset

Confirm you want to reset the settings.


Choose Yes

Reset network settings


Yes


Reset Face Recog. and Profile of Custom Settings?

Next format the SD cards

Go back to the Wrench Icon and go to the LAST

Menu item called >Format

Choose Slot 1 or Slot 2 depending on which slot you are formatting.


Choose to Delete all data from the memory card


Yes Delete all Media

Next set the Rec Format


Choose the Motion Picture Camera Icon


Choose Rec Format 

Choose AVCHD

Next Choose Rec Quality

Rec Quality AVCHD

1920 x 1080 23.98

Image Sensor Output 23.98

420 / 8bit / LogGOP

24Mbps

Dolby Audio

VFR available

This will Reset the camera 


FOCUS buttons


MF = Manual Focus

AFC = Auto Focus Continuous - will keep focus automatically

good for moving subjects but you will see camera change focus



AFS/AFF 


Here is the explanation from Panasonic try this out first

Put the SD Card into the card reader and put that into the USB slot

into the computer.

The files are in the private folder

Drag the contents of the card over to the folders on your hard drive

Make folders for backup 

DAYS > Cards

Copy the folders exactly as they are from the card to the folder
