MATLAB Information

The University of Texas at Austin has licensed MATLAB TAH Full Suite, which includes all academically available tools. MathWorks automatically adds new toolboxes to the license.

Students: For instructions on downloading, installing and activating MATLAB on personally owned devices, start here. Once you have arrived at the University MATLAB page, click on the Students tab at the top of the page and you will be prompted to enter your EID and password for access to the instructions.

Faculty and Staff: This also includes TAs, RAs, or anyone else affiliated as an employee. For instructions on downloading, installing, or activating MATLAB, please email help@ece.utexas.edu. Please let us know if this is a personal or UT device so we can provide the appropriate instructions. If this is a UT owned device, please provide the UT asset tag number, make/model of the device, and the name of your advising professor.
