Paloma:

  • Clements updates

    • separating campaign from gubernatorial

    • arrangement for the finding aid

Jessi:

  • Working with PR at Briscoe to do a piece with Texas Monthly about the anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing

  • UT Archives - updating the list of collections that we have an updating finding aids for collections we have; hoping to the digitize some things and organize the website

Maryrose:

  • Working on the document management system implementation

  • Working on electronic records with the President's Office

  • ASMP project http://www.utexas.edu/asmp - iSchool interns for decommissioning legacy software systems on campus

Carla:

  • Exhibit opened WWII Posters from Sam Coranado - used the Boses Oral History Project

  • Started a huge, new collection

Evelina:

  • Digitizing a huge collection and some of the law school yearbooks

  • Attended the panel at the law

Amy:

  • Ben Bradley Papers - Editor and Chief at Washington Post during Watergate Scandal, Project Archivist position

  • Audio Preservation Archivist (full time)

  • Still hiring for the Digital Archivist position

  • Would like to hire a Records Management as part of the strategic plan (full time - forthcoming)

  • Space - moving all processing archivists on the same floor

  • Alice and Wonderful exhibit is opened

  • All day on Saturday starting in April

  • Betsy/Head of Reference Services at HRC will be opening up in August or September when the current person retires (full time)

  • Shared services has resulted in lost of some IT staff

  • Library Assistant - Visual Materials/Public Services (full time)

Esther:

  • Started on the Liz Smith Collection (over 100ft), checklisting - she was a gossip columnist and there are a lot of artifacts
