Liz Muñoz, Chair Hannah Williamson Sae Han | The space committee is responsible for allocation of research space to faculty based on a hierarchy of: a) extramurally funded projects, b) intramurally funded projects/tenure-track faculty at assistant rank, and c) intramurally funded projects for tenured faculty. This committee consists of three Extended Budget Council members, elected by the faculty to three year terms. | |
Merit Review Committee | Debby Jacobvitz Jeff Lockman Lara Pauley | The merit review committee is responsible for the annual review of all faculty, and also recommends assignments based on workload policy. The annual reviews of faculty inform the Chair’s salary raise recommendations. This committee consists of three members of the Executive Committee elected by the faculty to three year terms, including at least one full professor and one professional track faculty member. |
Faculty Governance and Strategic Planning | Jeff Lockman, Chair Lara Pauley Liz Muñoz (Space Chair Ex Officio) | The strategic planning committee is responsible for working with the Department Chair to develop long range plans for development, faculty hiring, and program goals as well as evaluations of success in reaching those goals. This committee consists of three Extended Budget Council members, elected by the faculty to three year terms. |
