UT Library Resources
Books and reference material from the university library can be checked out and sent directly to Pickle, avoiding trips to Main Campus. Use the InterLibrary Services website (http://www.lib.utexas.edu/services/ils/). This website can also be used to request materials that the UT library may not have but other participating libraries may have. You can also request scans of papers when the university has access to only the print edition of journals.

If you request books or other physical media from the library, it is sent to your Pickle address in a blue campus mail bag. When you receive it, remove the paper insert with your address and information and drop the blue bag in the campus mail bin outside the Facilities Admin office (where Joyce, Gerlinde, James, and Darren sit).
Once you are done with a book, it is easily returned by dropping it in the Library Return bin outside the Library Storage Facility in Building 176. Map: Texas Science & Natural History Museum The return bin is located on Road D on the north side of Building 176. The Library Storage Facility is located just east of the intersection of Harry Ransom Trail and Road D. From MER, go south on Harry Ransom Trail to where the road tees, take a left and look for a beige box with "Library Return" printed on it. It will be on your right as you approach Building 176.
