Take the Laptop out of the Case setup and log in |

Make sure the USBC cable connects to the BMD Ultrastudio Mini to the Mac PC laptop |
 |
Check that the BlackMagic Ultrastudio is connected. Go to Macintosh HD>Applications>Blackmagic Desktop Video >open folder >Double click on Desktop Video Setup

Desktop Video Setup and you should see the UltraStudio 4K Mini connected | |
Go to Macintosh HD >Applications >OBS Application open OBS | |
Then go to OBS >Preferences/Settings | |
Click on Video Make sure that the Resolutions are set to 1920 x 1080
Click OK | |
Top tool bar Click on
>Tools >Decklink Output | |
Choose: >Device UltraStudio 4K Mini
>Mode 1080p60 >Keyer External | |
Next click on Start on the Output
(can ignore Preview Output) | |
Close this window now click on the red X button to close | |
On the Audio Mixer
Click on the mute button >May already be muted. You want the speaker Icon to be red and muted. | |
Next Go to Macintosh HD>Applications >Open H2R Graphics Application
Open H2R Graphics application | |
In the main window of H2R
Place that slightly over the OBS window so you can drag the OBS Icon over to the OBS “Sources” window | |
Click Yes here | |
Then to get to the Rundown click on Rundown Tab and then click Open | |

There will probably be lots of Graphics already loaded | |
To see the graphics they must be turned on
Each graphic has an on and off switch | |
You can delete graphics you do not want by right clicking the graphic and choosing delete

Make sure they are off to delete them | |
To add a graphic choose >Add a new graphic | |
Choose Lower Third for name overlays | |
Note if a graphic is already loaded and you want to edit it but can not see how it might be locked Click on the Locked button to unlock it | |
Click on the pencil to start to edit the graphic | |
Enter the information of the graphic as shown here | |
Choosing a different Theme options are available here
Transition options to choose from too | |
Then click on Done when finished | |
To add the score graphic >Click Add a new graphic | |
Choose Score | |
Choose how many brackets of data
Choose 1 for now | |
Then click on the Score Tab at the top of the screen | |
You can easily enter the scores as needed | |
Lock graphics that you do now want changed | |
