JAMF - Don't use this GLOBAL Now will install this when the computer is added to JAMF - OLD - How to Install Microsoft Defender - COMM

 

First make sure the computer is not in any exception groups

 

COMM - Exceptions - Microsoft Defender or

COMM – Remove Defender

Add the computer or computer group into this policy

COMM-Microsoft Defender-Deploy Installer

Computers will automatically be added to these two configuration profiles they are scoped to the COMM - Site

But check the computer to make sure they are installed.

This policy will also work

COMM - Microsoft Defender - Full Install

Then click on Scope

Then Edit

Then Add

Type in the comm-Axxxx in filter and then hit add to add the computer

Click Save

To see if the policy is added

Go to Logs

Type in the computer name in the filter results box

EX 21640

If you “Flush” then the process will start again – Need to do this if your policy is set to one time per computer to re-install – once you flush it’ll start it again and in about 30 minutes should be on the computer

Here we see that the status is pending for the install will take about 10 to 15 minutes

Next install

Go to COMM - Microsoft Defender - Full Install

Add computer or group to the scope

Save and run
