Recommendation for reaching decision

Create an ASMP Steering Committee subgroup (could contain others) to guide these discussions and recommendations then help represent the recommendation to the full Steering Committee. 

Timeframe

Topics will begin to come forward by the end of April throughout May.  Approval to proceed is needed by June 1 in order to release the development work.

Background

There are a number of detailed decisions that need to be made about how Workday HCM/Payroll will integrate with our current Financial system, DEFINE, until the point we go live with Workday Financials. These include such things as how the chart of accounts will be handled, encumbrances, DEFINE “codes” and more. We expect the participants of these discussions to have knowledge of these topics in the current Financial systems (primarily).
