Updated SSAD007 ppt for PreTx-3 Tried doing more materials practice, but ran into errors of not all homeworks being fully created properly Looked more into why there was a failure since Jimena saw that it was the same failure as her Input the coding error into ChatGPT to determine the cause The main issue is that Portoy is rejecting the AI request: Model gpt-5.4-1 is not allowed for this integration To fix it, change the model to one allowed for this integration and ensure the Qualtrics API token is available After ChatGPT provided commands to identify the required change, it said I needed the ‘current allowed Azure deployment name from your lab’s Portkey administrator or a colleague whose generator works.’ I do not have this, so I could not continue I then prompted on what commands to use if was running the terminal for the first time and I did have the deployment name I copied the commands into my lab notebook—I can send them on Teams if needed I hope this helps with finding why the terminal fails to generate the homeworks. If I can help next week with this more, please let me know! Issues with running automated homeworks -- and how to potentially solve them What happened + what ChatGPT says to fix/how to fix it During a terminal practice run, I repeatedly saw errors: paper-set and Qualtrics homeworks failed to be created. When I opened the files, the materials existed and appeared complete. However, when opening the homeworks, some questions and answer choices were missing—matching the terminal's "failure to create" messages. Jimena and Sadie have similar issues. I ran the error codes through ChatGPT, which identified the main error: an incorrect Porkey model gpt-5.4-1. The main cause is the same throughout: Model gpt-5.4-1 is not allowed for this integration Portkey rejected every AI request using that model with HTTP 412. As a result, the program could not generate some multiple-choice questions and flashcard characteristics. How to fix it Change the configured model from gpt-5.4-1 to a model that your Portkey integration permits. Check the model setting in the configuration, environment variables, or the code that creates the API request. Rerun all six failed stages so the missing AI-generated material is filled in. For the Qualtrics files, rerun with --upload-qualtrics and ensure: QUALTRICS_API_TOKEN is available. The account has access to a writable Qualtrics graphics library. I asked how to fix it and followed the commands ChatGPT provided to locate the cause. It then requested the current deployment name for the Porkey, so I stopped. I paused and asked ChatGPT to prepare the exact commands to run if we had the deployment name. I'll review this with Dr. Grasso and Jimena to see if we can fix it before creating materials. Once you receive the deployment name, follow this sequence. You are already in the correct project folder with .venvactive. 1. Set the deployment name Replace ACTUAL_DEPLOYMENT_NAME with the exact name provided by your administrator: export PORTKEY_MODEL='ACTUAL_DEPLOYMENT_NAME' Verify it: printf 'Using Portkey deployment: %s\n' "$PORTKEY_MODEL" 2.
