Now add sound into your Media Pool if you haven’t already | |

Make a New Bin and call it Sync | |
Go through and label all the takes properly if they are not already | |
Option click to drag over to the sync bin so it makes a copy into the sync bin | |
Do this for the image and sound files that are the same takes | |
Right click the camera file and choose >Clip Atributes | |
Click on Audio Tab will see the audio that is on the camera original.
Stereo Embedded 1 and 2
Note this as it will change when you sync the image and sound files | |
Do the same for the sound file so you are aware of the tracks associated with the sound files | |
Click on Audio Tab will see the audio that is on the sound files original.
Note this so when you look at the synced file it’ll make sense
Click OK to exit that menu | |
Once you have the clips image and sound matched up select all of them | |
Right click the files with them all selected and choose Auto Sync Audio | |
Choose Waveform and chose to not Retain the embedded audio if you do not want the audio from the video file or | |
Choose to Retain the audio from the camera original select Retain embedded audio
Click Sync to start the syncing process | |
Nothing much will seem to have happened. But now when you right click on your video file and choose Clip Attributes you should see different audio | |
Audio if you chose not to use the camera audio | |
Audio if you chose to keep the camera file audio | |
Can trash audio that was embedded if ou did not want it |
