• Discussion of what needs to be done to generate unique identifiers for files and storing metadata in MongoDB
  • Checksums: error message will appear and will move on to remaining files in that folder
  • When to rename files with suffixes (e.g., "front," "back," "duplicate")? --> after transfer
  • Discussion about document schema; no need to rename labels
    • Took a look at preservation metadata schema developed by Carson
• Lorrie will create list of materials that can be made available soon (i.e., in the digital library) --> disseminate to group and pass along to CSH to approve
• Unmil's brainstorm diagram of how digital preservation system, digital library and archives, and objects will interact with one another
