Confidentiality of Family Info

• • emergency contact sheets need to be put away in a class cabinet

Licensing Visit (will likely happen on Day 1 of camp)

• • medications (children cannot attend if they need meds and we don't have it)

  • outlet covers need to be checked daily

  • emergency exits must remain clear

  • oldest and youngest kids in room that day

Reviewing Expectations for the Plans for Learning

Planning and Prepping

Teaching Assistants are paid for 26 hours a week and this includes planning time on the days you aren't in Lunch Bunch

• • prepping/hours/schedule

Research

• continuing study from spring with parents
• times will be at the beginning or end of day + evenings and weekends

2nd study will start soon related to family-style meals and snacks

Snack will go back to family-style for camp

• 1 adult per table, encourage children to serve themselves in the suggested portion sizes
• Water pitchers and small cups for water
• Model appropriate serving, eating, and conversation
• Talk to children in neutral ways about how food can be prepared, including temperature, textures, scents, colors, etc rather than talking about foods being good/bad or favorites/disliked foods
• Family Dinner Project has conversation starters

If you are staying for lunch bunch, bring your own lunch (protein, grain, fruit, veggie), no nuts, LABEL YOUR LUNCH WITH YOUR NAME if it's going in the class fridge

Playground Workday Friday, June 2nd from 9-11

• Sarah, Emily, and Adriana will have a list of tasks to do

Bring and drink lots of water!

Wear bug spray and sunscreen

Be aware of metal toys getting hot in the sun
