Pro Tools - How to Enable the S3 in Pro Tools Ultimate

Open EuControl in the Applications folder

Click OK here

Add the AVID S3 to the My Surfaces

Leave the EuControl open

Next Open ProTools

When ProTools Opens in the Edit window right click on the timecode area by the transport window and check the box to enable EUCON

The the EUCON icon will show up in the upper right but it’ll be dimmed out to enable it click on EUCON

The hardware will enable and the GREEN EUCON means that the hardware is connected.
